Delivery & Shipping
Due the pandemic and other factors out of our control, lead times for all orders are 7-14 business days longer than stated below until further notice. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. We are doing everything we can to fill orders as fast as posssible.
Every Rested Pillow mattress is typically made to order. All other products ship direct from our suppliers. If ordered online, you should receive your items within 7-14 business days from the time of order. If you’ve purchased from our store, they’ll work with you to schedule your delivery or pick up starting with a call and/or email to discuss next steps in the process within 5 business days of order placement. If you order your mattress online, we offer free shipping on most products to addresses in the continental U.S.A. For in store customers we offer free delivery on most products and free removal of the old mattress with purchase of a new mattress (must be in sanitary condition) within a 25 mile radius of our store. For online orders, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your order is about to be shipped. If you need to request a different delivery date, you can request one directly with the delivery company once you have your tracking number. For in store orders, we will contact you via email and/or phone within 5 business days regarding the progress of your order and next steps in the process. For online orders, you do not have to present at time of order. For in store orders, an adult must be present for delivery and safe access is crucial. Our drivers reserve the right to use discretion and refuse service if these requirements are not met.
Exchanges & Returns
We want you to be delighted with your mattress, and we usually get it right the first time, but know it can sometimes take a couple of tries to find the right fit. With our 100 Night Comfort Guarantee, we’ll work with you to find a suitable bed and do a one time exchange for a mattress in the same size of equal or greater value. Your exchange can be initiated beginning 21 days after you have received your mattress to make sure you’ve given it enough time for your body to adjust, but no more than 100 days after your mattress arrives. To be eligible for an exchange, you must purchase one of our mattress protectors to help ensure the bed is unsoiled and free from damage. If a mattress of greater value is selected, the price difference must be paid by the customer. Closeouts, floor models, clearance items, special orders, custom sizes and odd size model combinations are not eligible. Also, a redelivery fee of $99 will be assed for addresses within in a 25 mile radius of our store. Bedding & Bases
All other products not mattresses can be exchanged or returned within 100 days of purchase if they’re unopened and a receipt is rendered. Exchanges and returns of opened product will not be accepted unless they’re received as damaged in which case a replacement or repair, at Rested Pillow’s discretion, will be offered if notified within 3 days of receiving and proper documentation is provided.
A GUARANTEE, not a typical pro-rated warranty
Our mattress and foundation sets are hand crafted in Grand Ledge, Michigan by Capitol Bedding, and are guaranteed (solely by them), against defects in materials or workmanship for the number of years stated on the mattress label. Should it fail under normal use and service due to these causes, Capitol Bedding will repair or replace it at their option when the guarantee service is authorized and handled through the dealer from whom you purchased the product from. The guarantee is not an indication of how long the product should be used. It does not cover loss of comfort or support.
Stains of any kind will void the guarantee. Capitol Bedding highly recommends using a quality mattress protector to protect from any stains.
Much like the breaking in of a new pair of shoes to your unique footprint, mattress body impressions, imprints and/or indentations are a normal, unavoidable, natural occurrence and are an indication that the foam layers are working to conform with each person’s individual weight, body contours and characteristics. They are not an indicative of material defect, or poor workmanship.
Proper Care Information recommended by Capitol Bedding
Proper Bed Frames: All Queen and King mattress sets should be used with a frame with a center support.
A supportive, solid frame can help prevent sagging in your mattress set.
Rotate your new mattress: New mattresses (one-sided) should be rotated 3-4 times the first year and 2-3 times per year after that. Although many manufacturers try to sell you a mattress with a firm seating edge, repeated seating on a mattress is simply not good for the mattress. If this is a practice you cannot avoid, please sit down “gently” and simply rotate your mattress more often than the above recommended amount. Other mattresses (two-sided) should be rotated, then flipped and rotated again.
We always recommend you buy the whole mattress set. The mattress and box spring are designed to work together for comfort and long life. Putting a new mattress on an old sagging box spring will cause the mattress to sag as well.
Enjoy your new bedding. The average person spends 1/3 of their life in bed. Investing in quality bedding and following up with proper care is well worth the Rest.
