Delivery & Shipping
Due the pandemic and other factors out of our control, lead times for all orders are 7 extra business days than stated below until further notice. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. We are doing everything we can to fill orders as quickly as possible.
Online Orders - If the delivery address is in the continental U.S.A., shipping is free and you should receive your mattress, compressed in a box and shipped direct from the factory, within 7-28 business days from the time of purchase. You’ll receive an initial email confirming your order followed by another email with a tracking number once your order is shipped. If you need to request a different delivery date, you can do so by directly contacting the delivery company once you have your tracking number. You do not have to present at time of delivery.
In Store Orders - If the delivery address is within 25 miles of our store, Rested Pillow’s delivery team will deliver for free, starting with a call and/or email to discuss next steps in the process within 7 business days of order placement. Removal of the old mattress with the purchase of a new mattress (must be in sanitary condition) is free when the delivery address is located within a 25 mile radius of our store. Rested Pillow is not liable for old mattress(es) and foundation(s) we pick up and disposed of at your request. We will contact you via email and/or phone within 5 business days regarding the progress of your order and next steps in the process. Note, an adult must be present for delivery and safe access is crucial. Our drivers reserve the right to refuse service if these requirements are not met, and a re-delivery fee of $99 will be assessed for each return trip.
Exchanges & Returns
100 Night Comfort Guarantee - We want you to be delighted with your mattress, and usually customers pick the right one on the first attempt, but we know that every once in a great while it can take a couple of tries to find the best fit. With our 100 Night Comfort Guarantee, we’ll work with you to find the right bed and do a one time exchange for a mattress in the same size of equal or greater value. Your exchange can be initiated beginning 21 days after you have received your mattress to make sure you’ve given it enough time for your body to adjust, but no more than 100 days after your mattress arrives. To be eligible for an exchange, you must purchase one of our mattress protectors to help ensure the bed is unsoiled and free from damage. If a mattress of greater value is selected, the price difference must be paid by the customer. There are no refunds if a mattress of lesser value is selected. Closeouts, floor models, clearance items, special orders, wanting a different size, custom/odd sizes are not eligible. In the highly unlikely event there is a defect with the mattress, it'll be handled under warranty at Rested Pillow's discretion. Also, there is a re-delivery fee of $99 for addresses within a 25 mile radius of our store. For locations outside of the 25 mile range, a delivery/shipping fee will be calculated by Rested Pillow based on the additional distance. Rested Pillow is not liable for old mattress(es) and foundation(s) we picked up and disposed of at your request. Returns on Mattresses - Mattresses can only be exchanged under the 100 Night Comfort Guarantee, or a valid claim can be filed under warranty in the highly unlikely event there's an issue with the mattress. They cannot be returned for a refund.
10 Year Warranty
Not a Typical Pro-Rated Warranty - Our mattress and foundation sets are hand crafted in Grand Ledge, Michigan by Capitol Bedding, and are guaranteed solely by them against defects in materials or workmanship. This is from the time you receive your new mattress and/or foundation to the end of the 10 year warranty period, which is stated on the mattress label. In the unlikely event it fails under normal use and service due to these causes, Capitol Bedding will repair or replace it at their option when the guarantee service is authorized and handled through the dealer from whom you purchased the product from (Rested Pillow Mattress). Remember, much like the breaking in of a new pair of shoes to your unique footprint, mattress body impressions, imprints and/or indentations less than or equal to 3/4" are a normal, unavoidable, natural occurrence and are an indication that the foam layers are working to conform with each person’s individual weight, body contours and characteristics. They are not an indicative of material defect, or poor workmanship.
Also, the warranty is not an indication of how long the product should be used. It does not cover loss of comfort or support within the normal tolerance for wear and performance allowed by each component. Stains of any kind will void the guarantee. We highly recommends using one of our quality mattress protectors to safe guard from any stains, and prevent breakdown of foam from perspiration, body oils, etc.
Proper Care Information - All queen and king mattress sets should be used with a frame that has a center support. A supportive, solid frame can help prevent sagging in your mattress set.
New mattresses (one-sided) should be rotated once a month for the first six months,then every 3-6 months after that. Two-sided mattresses should be rotated at that same frequency, but with the added step of flipping after the rotation.
Although many manufacturers try to sell you a mattress with a firm seating edge, repeated seating on a mattress is simply not good for the mattress. If this is a practice you cannot avoid, please sit down “gently” and rotate your mattress more often than the above recommended frequency. Same goes for two-sided mattresses with of course the added step of flipping when you rotate.
We always recommend you buy the whole mattress set. The mattress and our foundation are designed to work together for comfort and long life. Putting a new mattress on an old boxspring may seem to work at first, but the boxspring will eventually fail, and most likely before your new mattress reaches the end of it's life, thereby causing the mattress to sag with it. If that happens, the warranty will be void.
Enjoy your new bedding. The average person spends 1/3 of their life in bed. Investing in quality bedding and following up with proper care is well worth the Rest.
