Nick Gillespie has always loved sleep. Growing up outside of Jackson, MI, money was tight and mattresses were old. A new mattress for his 16th birthday made him realize how magical a good night’s Rest could be. 

Nick put himself through the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor by working at a local mattress store, selling the mattresses that changed his life and in 2016, quit his corporate gig to open Rested Pillow.

Allison Gillespie is from Saginaw, MI and went to Michigan State University. After marrying Nick and having their son, Griffin, the dream to start a business became a reality and Allison put her passion for marketing to work.

After years of leading major brands for big corporations, she left in 2022 to focus on Rested Pillow. It is a joy to spread the word about their Michigan-made mattresses.

Kristina recently relocated from South Florida to Michigan to be closer to family. With years of experience in mattress sales, she brings a deep understanding of what truly goes into a good night’s sleep.

We’re excited to have her knowledge and expertise on our showroom floor, where she’s passionate about becoming part of the local community and helping make the mattress-buying process feel easy, comfortable, and seamless.

Dustin has been on the Rested Pillow delivery team since 2022 and is from Baroda, MI. When he's not delivering mattresses, he's studying to be an electrical engineer at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Dustin is a veteran of the U.S. Army and we're proud to have him on the team.
